The Clash Espace Ballard - Paris, France Thursday night March 1st, 1984 Joe Strummer (vocals/guitar) Vince White (guitar/vocals) Nick Sheppard (guitar/vocals) Paul Simonon (bass/vocals) and Pete Howard (drums) unknown tape>audacity>wav>flac(trader's helper)>Flac(level 8) I thought I'd get some Clash II on Dime. This show kicks - fantastic performances along with Joe's rants in French. If I were driving home late and I wanted to crank a Clash II show this would be the one. Got this in trade on cassette back in '96. Its a solid audience - definitely well recorded. It sounds like a board but better mix. Everythings there. In quieter sections things really sound clear and crisp. There's not really distortion but the band was soo loud the clarity is lost a bit. Very little hiss. A few songs sound better than others - you make the call. I didn't alter anything. This is from the tape master - not the shorter lp. Probably not too many generations out but I dunno. Hope this helps fill a void. John (Doorjam) There's some info at http://homepage.mac.com/blackmarketclash/ from there: The vocals, drums and lead are all clear and the bass just hangs on. There is no distortion. 01 London Calling 02 Safe European Home 03 Are You Ready for War? 04 Rock the Casbah 05 The Dictator 06 The Magnificent Seven 07 The Guns Of Brixton 08 Ammunition 09 Clampdown 10 Sex Mad War 11 I’m So Bored with the USA 12 This Is England 13 Tommy Gun 14 Police and Thieves 15 Three Card Trick 16 Janie Jones 17 I Fought the Law 18 Brand New Cadillac 19 Complete Control 20 Armagideon Time 21 White Man In Ham Palais 22 Career Opportunities 23 Garageland
